Scott Brown
BackScott Brown is a BIM Technician at KUSCH with a background in product design, entrepreneurship, and manufacturing. He holds a degree in Product Design with Honours in Entrepreneurship from UTS. Previously, he ran a creative embroidery design service and still runs a side practice focused on streamlining BIM workflows.
At KUSCH, Scott is building on his expertise in BIM by developing automated systems and custom tools using PyRevit and coding, while strengthening the link between BIM and manufacturing. He’s focused on enhancing KUSCH’s capabilities in automation, rendering, and digital coordination, while expanding his knowledge in structural engineering, prefabrication, and seismic design.
Outside of work, Scott is designing a modular, off-grid cabin as a personal passion project on a steep block. The project embraces passive design and prefabrication to explore efficient, low-impact construction. He also enjoys producing music, playing tennis, and getting outdoors—whether it’s hiking, camping with friends, scuba diving, or taking motorbike trips through the outback. These hands-on adventures continue to inspire his design thinking and creative process.
