Scope:
- Modularisation and coordination of plantroom into prefabricated modules
- BIM Modelling and production of shop drawings, with all materials and cutting lists scheduled
- Structural design and certification of the prefabricated modules
Design Achievements:
- Off-site manufacturing of the plantroom enabled the mechanical construction program to be compressed by 8-12 weeks compared to traditional site construction.
- Prefab modules lifted into position over a weekend, with formwork construction commencing the next day
Design Highlights:
- Frames constructed using weld-free SUPA framing
- Provision of material schedules allowed for accurate materials ordeing and minimised wastage
- Modules weighed up to 8.5t
